Clean bars. Smooth throttle action. Built to last. The Pangea Speed Internal Throttle routes your throttle cable inside the handlebar for a super clean chopper look without a bulky external throttle housing.

We consider this one of the best internal throttles on the market. Its durable bushing design avoids the fragile little bearings that can come apart in bearing-based assemblies. Straightforward installation with basic cutting and drilling makes it an easy way to clean up your handlebars.

Fitment

  • For 1" handlebars with a .093" wall thickness.
  • Works with our 1" grip sets, using the standard 1.125" (1-1/8") inside-diameter right grip.
  • Bars with a .120" wall thickness require the throttle insert to be ground or machined down slightly for proper fit.

Specs

  • Internal cable routing for a clean handlebar appearance.
  • Durable bushing design instead of fragile bearings.
  • Handlebar preparation: remove 3.940" from the throttle-side end.
  • Mounting hole: 13/64", located 1.495" from the newly cut bar end.

Important Notes

  • Installation requires shortening the handlebar, drilling the mounting hole, and providing a suitable cable exit. See the installation instruction image in the product gallery for the complete procedure.
  • Lightly grease moving parts and lubricate the throttle cable. Route the cable without kinks or binding.
  • Some carburetors require an in-line cable adjuster to achieve full throttle.
  • Before riding, verify secure mounting, full throttle travel, and free return with the handlebars turned fully left and right.
